Our Philosophy

"It is our philosophy that experience is the best teacher."

We believe that preschool aged children build strong emotional educational foundations through their active involvement in age-appropriate experiences in a safe and loving educational environment.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to provide a warm and friendly program that is sensitive to the specific needs of the preschool child. We are a non-profit, nonsectarian, interracial educational institution dedicated to providing a half day program that benefits the child, the parent, and the community.

Our Goals for your Child

To provide opportunities for being with other children in a safe and healthy setting conducive to development of wholesome social relationships.

To provide appropriate play experiences that will contribute to the emotional and developmental needs of the child.

To build important foundations for future academic skills based on the child's individual needs, interests, and abilities.

Our Goals for the Parents

To provide a loving educational environment for the child while the parents pursue their own work or other interests.

To provide helpful early childhood information and resources to parents.

To become a partner with the parent in the educational and social development of their child.

To provide regular communication with the parents through monthly newsletters and classroom notes.

To provide an open classroom environment where parents are always welcome to visit or volunteer.

Enrollment

All preschool aged (2.5-5 yr.) children are welcome.

Children must be toilet trained

$105 non-refundable registration fee to hold class choice for fall, includes school shirts and school bag.

[UPDATED 1-26-11] Classes offered 9:15 - 11:45 am September - May

$105/Month. 2 days per week, Tuesday and Thursday

$130/Month. 3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday OR Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

$185/Month. 4 days per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

$205/Month. 5 days per week

Extended enrichment day (to 3pm monthly sign up) is double the above plus a reduced lunch bunch of $2

Regular lunch bunch (11:45-1; daily sign up) $5/day

$10 Enrichment classes such as reading, science, math or gymnastics until 2pm

Summer school is offered during June
